WebThe City of Gainesville’s Urban Forestry Division is hosting an Arbor Day event that will feature a tree giveaway. This event will take place on Earth Day, at TB Mcpherson park from 9am - 12pm. Neighbors are able to show up and receive 2 free trees per household, as well as receive educational materials about the Urban Forest. WebWelcome! Our Earth Day event is a free, family-friendly event that celebrates our natural, local environment. This annual spring event includes engaging, environmental educational activities for the whole family and provides free trees for citizens to plant at home and increase our urban canopy.
