Web6 apr 2011 · When they talk about ignition upgrades I think they mean HEI or TFI upgrade with a nutter bypass. Makes it more reliable and the HEI or TFI will make the engine rev higher easier with a hotter spark (then gapping plugs out a little further) and less chance of the spark jumping to the next cylinder in the distributor with a larger cap.
